Who we are

Portcart is operated by Vee Bee Solutions & Services Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at 324/325, 3rd Floor, Bigsplash, Plot No 78/79, Sector 17, Vashi, Navi Mumbai - 400703, Maharashtra, India. References to "Portcart", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy mean the same entity. References to the "platform" mean our websites, dashboards, mobile experiences, and APIs.

Data we collect

We collect data in three broad categories:

• Account and contact data: name, work email, role, organisation, phone number, and login identifiers, used to set up dashboards for mall operators, airport teams, brand admins, leasing teams, and other platform users.
• Operational data: brand listings, store details, offer content, voucher data, leasing requests, communication campaigns, and analytics tied to the arena. This is stored on behalf of the operator who controls it.
• Usage data: device, browser, IP address, page views, click events, and basic diagnostics, used to operate the platform reliably and improve it over time.

Why we use your data

We use personal data only for purposes that are legitimate, lawful, and reasonably expected by users of the Portcart platform.

• To deliver the dashboards, arena pages, and APIs you have signed up for.
• To respond to demo requests, sales enquiries, and support tickets.
• To send transactional and operational notifications.
• To send marketing communications when you have opted in, with the option to opt out at any time.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with applicable Indian laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

How we share data

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with parties that help us operate the platform or that the operator has explicitly asked us to integrate with.

• Sub-processors: hosting providers, email and messaging providers, analytics providers, customer support tools, and payment processors, all under contract with appropriate safeguards.
• Operator integrations: POS, ADSR, voucher, payment, lounge, gift card, ERP, CRM, and analytics partners that the operator has chosen to connect to their Portcart workspace.
• Legal disclosures: when required by a valid legal request, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

Where data is stored

We host data primarily in data centres located in India. Some sub-processors may process data outside India under appropriate contractual safeguards. We take reasonable steps to ensure that any cross-border transfer is consistent with applicable law.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, or for any longer period required by law. Account data is deleted or anonymised after the account is closed and any contractual or legal retention period has lapsed.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access, correction, erasure, or a copy of your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing communications, and lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
