Indira Gandhi International Airport

Indira Gandhi International Airport is India’s busiest airport and the main gateway to the capital, handling over 70 million passengers a year across three terminals. Terminal 3, one of the largest passenger terminals in the world, handles international flights and full-service domestic carriers, Terminal 1 handles low-cost domestic, and Terminal 2 supports additional domestic traffic.

It is operated by Delhi International Airport Ltd, a GMR Group-led consortium, and runs four runways. DEL is the principal connecting hub for North India and a major international transfer point between Europe, the Gulf, Southeast Asia and North America.

Terminal 3’s international departures hold one of India’s largest airport retail floors, with extensive duty-free across liquor, tobacco, perfume, cosmetics, electronics and confectionery, plus luxury fashion and watch boutiques and Indian premium brands aimed at long-haul and transit travellers.

The terminal carries a strong Indian-experience retail and dining theme, flagship lounges, and a wide food range from quick-service to full-service restaurants. The domestic terminals focus on convenience retail, F&B and travel essentials for high-frequency business travellers.
