Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Mumbai

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is Mumbai’s primary gateway and India’s second-busiest airport after Delhi, handling over 50 million passengers a year across two terminals. Terminal 1 at Santacruz runs domestic flights, while the integrated Terminal 2 at Sahar handles international services and some domestic departures.

It is one of the world’s busiest airports to operate from a single runway at a time, using two intersecting runways. The airport is run by Mumbai International Airport Ltd, part of the Adani Group’s airports business.

Terminal 2’s international departures carry an extensive duty-free program covering liquor, tobacco, perfumes, cosmetics, confectionery and electronics, alongside luxury boutiques and Indian premium brands aimed at long-haul travellers.

Terminal 2 is also known for the Jaya He art program, one of the largest public art collections at any airport in the world, plus a range of premium lounges and dining from quick-service to full-service restaurants. Domestic travellers at Terminal 1 have a tighter but growing mix of convenience retail, F&B and travel essentials.
